If you haven't heard Apple just released a new version of iTunes. I signed up on Ping yesterday morning after downloading the latest version of iTunes - iTunes 10. Although there's not many artist to follow (I'm following Lady GaGa, Diddy, and a few others), I'm having a good time discovering music by following regular users on Ping, music I would have never known about before. Anyway, if you're on iTunes Ping, ping me (Norris Hughes).

For a limited time, download 100 free Kaplan books from the iTunes iBooks store for your iOs device (iPhone, iPod touch, & iPad). The books range in a variety of subjects. I've already downloaded approximate 10 SAT preparatory books and a handful of medical and legal guides to share with my family via HomeShare.

Enjoy!

The Windows Life Team recently posted a blog message about Hotmail now supporting Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) giving you the ability to get your email, calendar, and contacts pushed to your mobile device. The devices support include Windows Mobile, Nokia, Palm, and iOS (iPhone/iPod touch, iPad) devices. With iOS 4 and the ability to add multiple Exchange accounts this update is invaluable for me since I have multiple Hotmail accounts and 1 Exchange account. The only limitations or issue with EAS for Hotmail is that attachments larger than 20MB will not be downloaded and iPhone users are unable to view messages forwarded from a Windows Mobile 6.x device nor view .ics attachments on the iOS devices.

To setup, enter the information below on your phone.

For $89.95, an Australian company, Padacs is calling the case pictured above, "The Toccata".  Apparently, you can charge the keyboard via USB (cable included) and the battery is rated at 45 hours of usage.

I'm a big user of the on-screen keyboard for typing blog posts, emails, and initial paper drafts for school. Although, I'm fairly proficient there are times (for long trips without the laptop) when I wouldn't mind having a physical keyboard to type anything longer than 5 pages.

Looks like this one is going on my wish list for the holidays. ;)

When the iPad keyboard case becomes available go to  https://www.padacs.com/cart/accessories.php?category=1

As many of you iPhone 4 users are aware, using the built-in upload to YouTube feature will down res your HD video while uploading to YouTube. Now with 720tube you upload those HD videos captured using your iPhone 4. The app is available for FREE in the app store. Although, I've been using PixelPipe for nearly a month now, I plan to give 720tube a try as it appears to give me more options such as selecting a category and listing my videos published or unpublished.
